Volunteer Opportunities

There are many opportunities to serve as a volunteer for Messengers of Peace. Below is a listing of just some of the opportunities.

Social Media
Work on campaigns and utilize social media as a means to communicate to a larger public.

Writer
Write articles for Chapter publications distributed to volunteers, staff, and donors

Donor Prospect Research
Conduct research on individual, foundation and corporate prospects for grants, donations and sponsorship. Gather the information critical for securing support for this organization

Public Relations
Provide support to the PR team with administrative duties, graphic design, and assist in developing community and media relations

Website Design/Graphic Design
Assist in website/graphic design and help create a more user friendly interface

Video Productions
Work in production with PR team to produce video coverage of pass events/ projects

Volunteer Data Management
Learn Chapter data management systems and update volunteer information

Volunteer Recruitment and Recognition
Assist with recruitment and management of new volunteers and volunteer recognition events

Youth Advisor/Mentor
Assist youth with skills building and leisure activities and weekly meetings.

Community Outreach Events
Represent Menssengers of Peace at events to educate and recruit members from the community to become volunteers

Administrative/Office Support
Help the team with operational, back-office support tasks
